Students review key programming concepts like events and loops while practicing scene creation, character interaction, and message-based coordination.
Students review computer fundamentals and learn how to be responsible digital citizens, including understanding digital footprints and using technology safely.
Students apply sequencing and events to interactive games, practice debugging and grid-based movement, and explore how coding connects to real-world careers.
Students use message events to control program flow, model repeating cycles, and connect actions across multiple pages.
Students use loops to identify patterns, control timing, and animate original stories, while debugging more complex programs.
Students combine sequences, events, loops, and messages to design original interactive games and multi-page adventure projects.
Students learn secure login practices, how computers store data, how to interpret data patterns, and how to conduct research and compare software tools.
Students explore conditionals and variables and get an early introduction to the CodeHop Blocks interface to prepare for more advanced programming.

The course builds on foundational programming concepts through a block-based programming language. Students design interactive games, animations, and data-driven projects while developing computational thinking, digital citizenship, and research skills.
